DARIN MOELLER KILLED IN SEMI-TRUCK COLLISION – Bobby Bonds reportedly injured

The Arkansas State Police is reporting that one man was killed and the other injured when two tractor-trailer trucks collided  in Logan County on Monday, February 27, 2017.  A Preliminary Fatal Crash Summary indicates that Darin Moeller (age 45) of Sarcoxie, Mo,  was northbound on Highway 23 driving a Freightliner, and Bobby Bonds (age 48 ) of Charleston, AR, was westbound on Highway 22 driving a Peterbuilt.

According to the report, the two 18 wheelers collided in the intersection where the two highways meet when one pulled onto Highway 23 and the trailer of one flipped and crushed the tractor of the other. The report indicates that Moeller was killed and Bonds was injured.

Sr. Cpl. Ricky Denton is identified as the investigating officer and the report states that it was cloudy  and the road was dry at the time of the collision.
